From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph

I used to think I wasn’t on their level

Till I realized…they were never on mine

Imagine if they were

Oh, the damage we’d do…

What does she know about heart race

What does she know about

Her breath not keeping pace…

Forget blonde or platinum

Always a sucka for a brunette but

Give me red

Told you I wanted the color of those lips

To match your hair…

They all want happiness

But can’t even define it

So they alter their bodies and faces

Thinking that’s where they’ll find it

Only to lose their heart, soul and mind

Just to finite their possibilities

Maximizing their limits

Realizing none of them ever hit differently

So fully open your minds young loves

Expand your curiosities

Let me take you beyond levels

You previously peaked

Make that inconsistent a consistent leak

Could you imagine the nirvana you’re about to meet

Leave you like you do me

When these lens capture your beauty

And I can barely speak

So talk to me

Stop sending me these subliminals

I’m not here to save you

Yet I’ll always come to your rescue

You’ll finally see I’m your pinnacle

And you’re my Queen

My inevitable
